In honor of celebrating our 85th year in business, we are highlighting the Sweetest Moments at Platter's Chocolate Factory. Below are two Sweetest Moments shared by Heidi Urban, Vice President of Platter's Chocolate Factory.

"I remember the first time I was introduced to Platter’s orange chocolate. It was 1990 and I was working at a drug store in the village of Hamburg. One of my colleagues was getting so excited for the Platter’s annual Easter delivery. I had never even heard of Platter’s. Once the delivery came, we broke into the orange chocolate eggs right away! Wow! What a treat! I even saved the box to store my special trinkets because I thought it was so pretty. It’s the same box the orange eggs come in today." 

"My first Thanksgiving at the Urban’s was so special. Of course all the amazing smells of a turkey dinner but one of the most special details is how my mother in-law had a small chocolate turkey tied closed with a bow at every single place setting. To this day when I see that turkey I think of her."
