Come out for Platter's Chocolate Factory's 5th Annual Sponge Candy 5k raising money for Joyful Rescues. The event will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2022, with many activities to look forward to throughout the day.

• There will be a basket raffle starting Friday, September 16th up until the race with net proceeds benefiting Joyful Rescues.
• Celebrate National Sponge Candy Day with samples of our famous sponge candy!
• Joyful Rescues will join us with adoptable pets.
• Our feature event, “The Run for Sponge” 5k will begin at 3:30 pm.
• Sammy Sponge will join us for pictures before, during, and after the race.
• Stop by Fattey Beer Co. after the race for live music and drinks.

If you’re not a runner there are many other ways to participate, volunteer for the race, donate a basket, or walk in the race.
